Dance Unlimited's performance groups participate in many regional Eisteddfods including Gulgong, Dubbo, Mid Western Dance Festival, Wellington & Sydney. To be eligible to participate in our eisteddfod groups you must commit to travelling and performing at all eisteddfods we intend to compete at during the year.
Eisteddfod's help grow your child's confidence to perform on stage and to undertake what can be a very nerve-racking, exciting and rewarding experience.
Eisteddfods are scheduled from May to August.
Dance Unlimited's MUST SEE annual end of year concert is held in December. This is a fantastic event where all the students are able to showcase what they have learnt throughout the year with a performance on stage. This is often what each child strives towards throughout the year. It is an extremely exciting and fun time for both child and family and we love helping to bring a little more cheer and enjoyment to everyone in our dance community during the festive season.
Dance Unlimited conducts exams under the Glenn Wood Tap Dance Syllabus. These exams are held towards the end of the year (usually in October). Again, exams are not compulsory, however, formal exams present a unique opportunity for children to display and take pride in how hard they work and are able to progress in their classes. Our tap students always find their exam experience to be uplifting, beneficial and rewarding.
Dance Unlimited holds it RAD Ballet exams each year in the studio, with an examiner sent out usually during September. We encourage all students who attend ballet each week to enter for exams. For Grades 1 and up children must attend 2 classes per week to make sure they are ready and confident for their exam.
While exams are not compulsory, our vast experience shows that formal exams present a unique opportunity for the children to display and take pride in how hard they work and are able to progress in their classes. Our exam students always find their exam experience to be uplifting, beneficial and rewarding.
