About UPA Studios

Established in 1999 and located in Mudgee, Unlimited Performing Arts Studios is the most comprehensive and high calibre performing arts school in the area with three dance studios and two purpose-built acro and aerials studios and many styles on offer for students from ages 18 months to adults. 

To ensure classes are suitable for all our UPA Stars, we offer a range of options across styles, age groups, and abilities. Whether you are aiming for a professional career, looking to stay fit, or finally ready to give dance, acro or aerials a try, we have a class for you. 

The teachers at UPA have a vast range of experience across disciplines. Our collective approach is to share our love of dance, acrobatics and aerial arts and provide the most up-to-date training techniques and methods in a supportive and encouraging environment.

As a local business in a thriving regional area, we are also very community-minded. You will often see Unlimited Performing Arts Studios teachers and students supporting events in the Mudgee area.

Our vision is to create a world where everyone can access the magic of dance. 

We have witnessed first-hand how dance can build character, confidence and friendships. This beautiful, enriching sport is an incredible tool to teach body awareness, self-discipline, teamwork and self-confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

We encourage you to trial any class styles over the first two weeks of joining us to find the style (or styles) that your star dancer enjoys the most. 

For your first trial class, wear some comfortable activewear, such as a pair of tights and a t-shirt. We have an onsite dancewear store ‘Unlimited Dancewear’ for you to purchase all your class related items including uniform, shoes, bags and drink bottles.

Yes. If your child decides they would like to try a different class we will transfer your enrolment over to one of our other classes of equal value. We recommend trialing as many styles as possible to figure out exactly what your star dancer enjoys.

No. However, we do recommend it! Our end of year concert is not compulsory; however, it is an extremely exciting and rewarding event for all members of the family. For most students it is the highlight of their dance year.

Yes. We have a dedicated foyer and viewing window to watch the classes being run in Studio 1 and Studio 4. However, you do not need to stay if your child is comfortable and you would like to use the class time to get things done! Our nurturing staff will look after your star dancer while they are in the studio.

Haley Priest

Principal & CEO

Haley grew up dancing in Mudgee at Dance Unlimited (now UPA) and after being a part of the student body and then faculty for many years had the privilege of stepping in to the role of Principal and owner of the community she absolutely adores.

Kirsty-Crowe

UPA faculty

Kirsty has danced from a young age and has an infectiously bubbly personality. Kirtsy has a passion for classical ballet and loves the structure of training dance from the ground up.

Kirsty joined the UPA faculty in 2024 and loves sharing her passion with our youngest UPA Stars all the way through to our Seniors.

Hannah grew up dancing in Mudgee. She was an avid performer and quickly began to shine in the genre of tap.

Hannah’s passion for tap grew with each year and on completing her schooling she knew it was a passion she wanted to pass on to the next generation of dancers.

Tegan Stathopoulos

UPA Faculty

Tegan started dancing at the age of 3 in Dubbo where she studied Jazz, RAD Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Modern and Hip Hop.

Tasha Priest

UPA faculty

Tasha grew up dancing in Mudgee. She completed her Classical Ballet exams and also studied Jazz, Modern, Contemporary and Hip Hop .

Melanie Steer

UPA Faculty

Melanie joins the UPA team in 2022. Melanie has over 20 years experience owning and running her own studio and is excited for her next adventure here at UPA. She specialises in RAD Ballet, Pointe work and Technique.

Bianca completed her Bachelor of Dance at AMPA last year and is excited to share her knowledge and energy with our UPA Stars

Madison Roberts

Madison has danced for as long as she can remember. She is passionate about classical ballet, acro and aerial arts and is excited to continue her teaching journey in 2026. Madison is also a Registered RAD classical ballet teacher. Madison is bubbly and encouraging and is looking forward to mentoring the next budding UPA ballerinas
